This blog is a few years old. I originally started this blog to share my CF experience and becoming a certified SLP. Well, all that is done now. I have grown and changed a lot as a person and I thought this blog should change too. Not that I did a very good job of keeping up with it. I admire all those SLP blogs out there and check them frequently. But for me, I wasn't enjoying working all day, preparing for work at night, and then writing about work. I needed a little more balance in my life. Thus, the blog was put on the back burner....the WAY back burner.
Since graduating from school and moving to Colorado, I have developed a love for exploring, adventures (big and small), antique/vintage things, getting crafty, photography, and travel. And as hard as it can be sometimes, I am learning (and even enjoying) doing all of this on a budget!
So I thought I would re-vamp the blog. I might still talk about things related to speech and language therapy, work struggles, and triumphs. However, everyone needs balance in there life. It's healthy to have have hobbies and interests. So I also want to share my experiences and adventures, my photographs (if any of them are good), and some fun DIY projects.
So there you go. That is my loose plan for heading forward. Who knows what will come of it. If any of this sounds interesting to you, I would love it if you would follow along!
